Job summary

Ascentek, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to direct day-to-day production activities and optimize efficiency, safety, and quality in our Minnesota facility.

You will allocate people, equipment, and assets to meet customer needs and coordinate with management, customers, and associates to prioritize tasks and resources cost effectively. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in manufacturing packaging, 2+ years in supervision, and a strong grasp of Lean Principles, SDS, and JDE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Min 4 years of manufacturing experience in packaging and production.
• Min 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Understanding of Lean Principles.
• Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production area to meet goals, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Plan and coordinate material flow from raw materials to finished products.
• Participate in plant continuous improvement and changeover reduction activities.
• Assist in maintaining product quality through documentation controls.
• Develop and implement operating procedures to eliminate production problems.
• Plan and oversee maintenance of assets critical to production.
• Ensure safety compliance and provide training as needed.
