Job summary

Ascentek is hiring a Production Lead for the second shift in Minnesota. This role directs daily production, plans material flow, and drives safety, quality, and cost objectives. It requires a high school diploma, 4+ years in manufacturing (packaging), and 2+ years supervising staff.

Proficiency with JDE and Lean principles is valued. The position offers hourly pay between $25 and $30, with shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience, packaging/production.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Understanding of Lean Principles and safety awareness.
• Able to read and interpret SDS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities and meet goals.
• Plan and coordinate material flow from raw to finished goods.
• Support continuous improvement and changeover reduction.
• Maintain product quality and safety documentation.
• Develop procedures to reduce production problems and improve quality.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with regulations.
• Present performance metrics to management.
