Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Plant Operator in Decatur, AL to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our production facility. You'll manage the filling of cylinders and maintain high-quality standards while engaging in routine inspections and contributing to equipment maintenance.

This role requires a high school diploma and ideally some experience in plant operations. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Previous experience in plant operations preferred.
• Technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for and steward equipment, including compressors and pumps.
• Engage in routine inspections and maintenance.
• Support the flow and transport of cylinders with safety in mind.
