Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Lansing, IL, is seeking a Packaging/Pelbo Department Supervisor to support the shift supervisor and ensure safe, compliant production of egg products.

You will train operators, maintain sanitation and food safety standards, and coordinate with processors to schedule runs, prevent jams, and keep accurate records for USDA audits. Prior food production or supervisory experience preferred; pay ranges $19–$23 per hour.

• Prior food production experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training all processing and production personnel in the department.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP/HACCP).
• Work with supervisors to maintain sanitation standards of the facility.
• Direct packaging operators and utility staff to organize time and ensure tasks are done safely and quickly.
• Coordinate with processors on run timing, lines, product type, and sterilization to meet production needs.
• Ensure accurate records and documentation for USDA and shift handoffs.
