Job summary

Perrigo in Allegan Township, MI is seeking a QA Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3 PM–11 PM). The role focuses on responding to quality events, documenting actions, and ensuring rapid containment of issues.

You will review processes for cGMP compliance, assist in identifying and containing defects, and participate in rework instructions. A high school diploma is required, with 6 months FDA experience; 2+ years are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in an FDA regulated industry; 2+ years preferred.
• Must understand and apply cGMPs.
• Working knowledge of SOPs and ability to give clear direction.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
• Understanding of equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to quality events, complete related documentation, and determine immediate containment and remediation.
• Identify, assess and contain defects; provide rework instructions as needed.
• Review documentation and perform auditing of Perrigo manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure cGMP compliance.
