Job summary

Perrigo in Michigan is seeking a QA Technician for a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3 PM–11 PM). The role responds to quality events, documents actions, and determines containment and remediation while supporting cGMP-compliant manufacturing and packaging processes at our site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in an FDA-regulated industry preferred, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preference for 2- or 4-year degree
• Minimum 2 years experience in an FDA regulated industry; at least 6 months required
• Understanding of and ability to apply cGMPs
• Working knowledge of SOPs with ability to provide clear direction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently against multiple deadlines
• Understanding equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes

Responsibilities

• Respond to quality events and complete related documentation
• Determine immediate physical containment and remediation
• Identify, assess, and contain defects; manage rework process and provide instructions
• Review documentation and perform auditing to ensure cGMP compliance
