Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead a ~30-person second shift team in aftermarket repair operations. You will oversee day-to-day execution, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity while developing a capable, engaged team.

Responsibilities include staffing planning, cross-functional problem solving, and implementing Lean improvements. FAA-aligned procedures and SAP system usage are part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Ability to work 1st shift hours: Monday - Friday 7AM – 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of union employees, establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide hands-on leadership and oversight of second shift operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant work.
• Plan and coordinate daily staffing, workflow, and resources to meet turnaround time and delivery objectives.
• Monitor shift performance and address issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues.
