Black Rock is seeking a Second Shift Oiler / Lube Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of heavy equipment at our aggregate operations. The role includes fueling, greasing, lubricating, inspecting, and servicing equipment to keep daily production safe and productive.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently during evening and nighttime hours on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of loaders, excavators, and trucks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to perform basic recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly maintenance tasks including greasing, oil checks, and fluid top-offs.
• Fuel trucks and heavy equipment and maintain accurate fueling logs.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify wear or needed repairs.
• Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe service area.
• Monitor and track oil, grease, and fuel inventory levels.
• Complete maintenance tasks efficiently to support daily operations.
• Communicate with day-shift mechanics regarding equipment concerns.

This position is responsible for fueling, greasing, lubricating, inspecting, and servicing equipment to ensure it is safe, reliable, and ready for daily production. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently during evening and nighttime operations.

Position Overview

The Second Shift Oiler is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, oil checks, and fueling heavy equipment. This role supports daily operations by identifying potential issues early and ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nightly maintenance tasks including greasing, oil checks, and fluid top-offs
