Quad in Franklin, WI is seeking a Second Shift Offset Sheetfed Platemaker. Entry level and willing to train, you will oversee the plate-making process, generate impositions, create plates, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality for the printing process.

This modern packaging facility produces folding cartons and blister cards, with a collaborative environment focused on safety and teamwork. The Second Shift runs 1pm - 9pm with a $3 premium and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set up and maintain automated platemaker.
• Strong math skills and clear communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of press operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm accuracy and completeness of job orders.
• Build computer to plate (CTP) layouts and verify defects.
• Perform coating blanket manufacturing tasks as required.
• Stage Plate Carts with necessary press items.
• Maintain and organize artwork proof filing system pre and postproduction.
• Support adherence to quality standards and certifications.
