100Hires, Inc. in Warren, MI is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for two plants on second shift. You will repair and service coil-fed stamping presses, weld cells, compressors, and related equipment to keep lines humming.

Diagnose issues, measure wear, replace parts, adjust spindles and hydrauliсs, then start up and test equipment after repairs. Travel between sites is required for this hands-on role with strong mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a manufacturing press and machine repair technician.
• Metal stamping and forming (progressive die) experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on exposure to weld cells and compressors.
• Willingness to travel between two plants in Warren, MI.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems on production equipment.
• Diagnose issues by observing, listening, and inspecting; dismantle machinery as needed.
• Measure components to determine wear or misalignment; replace worn parts within drive and hydraulic assemblies.
• Realign and adjust spindles, clutches, and other critical mechanisms.
• Identify damaged air and hydraulic lines; cut, thread, and install new piping.
• Start up and test equipment post-repair to confirm proper function.
• Fabricate/repair parts using a lathe, drill press, and grinder.
• Modify computer-controlled motion in automation to correct cycle performance.
