APX is seeking a dependable MIG Welder to support our fabrication shop operations. This role focuses on welding and assembling metal components according to specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, perform MIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, and use grinders to finish welds with precision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Perform MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless‑steel sheet metal components.
• Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.
