Aerotek is hiring a Welder for a second shift in Clinton, TN. The role focuses on MIG welding across various projects, with weld tests and quick transition to production in a safe, clean environment that supports growth and training.

You will interpret blueprints, perform flat/uphill/downhill welds with flux core, and maintain quality to meet specifications, while adhering to safety protocols and team coordination.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MIG welding experience with test welds.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding specs.
• Completion of TCAT or equivalent program accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on production parts following procedures.
• Complete flat, uphill, and downhill weld tests as part of hiring.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure proper weld placement.
• Use flux core welding techniques safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per guidelines.
• Collaborate with foreman to schedule tests and production tasks.
• Participate in onboarding and transition to welding duties.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Monitor weld quality and adjust as needed to meet specs.
• Support second shift production from 2:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Mon-Thu.
