Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of 21-25 employees in a meat production facility. You will plan resources, supervise daily activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time targets in a USDA-governed environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement, with exposure to HACCP/GMPs, lean principles, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working in food manufacturing governed by USDA strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices, hazard analysis and critical control points, lean manufacturing and other food safety, quality, and manufacturing principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to mentor and coach individuals and identify development needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a production team to meet quality, safety, and production targets.
• Plan and allocate daily resources to meet production targets.
• Document daily production activities and communicate variances in meetings and reviews.
• Improve and optimize processes with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs and food safety requirements.
• Maintain safe working environment; enforce safety policies and procedures.
