dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Material Handler in Indianapolis, IN to process incoming products, recycle scrap materials, and move items using forklifts and related equipment.

You will also verify packing details and support cross‑department coordination to ensure on‑time internal deliveries. The role requires a high school diploma, experience with material handling equipment, and comfort working up to 25 feet.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience communicating effectively within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience, or the ability to be certified on such warehouse equipment.
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 25 feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including, but not limited to: Fork Truck, Forklift, Work Assist Vehicle (WAV), Turret Stock Picker (TSP).
• Ensure appropriate stocking levels are maintained without disruption to customers while partnering with other departments.
• Examine shipments at the time of delivery for damage, and verify the accuracy of information listed on packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading by visually inspecting the boxes, ensuring the accuracy of internal deliveries.
• Complete material movement transactions utilizing SAP software via RF device or computer.
• Pull material parts from bins using a pick list and RF device to fill Transfer Orders (e.g., identify the specific part/lot number, quantity, and locations of all ordered items).
