Job summary

L T Hampel Corp. is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to maintain production equipment and perform preventive maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, rapid troubleshooting, and teamwork to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and machining systems; completing repairs and PMs; and assisting other maintenance staff. Sign-on bonus and quarterly profit sharing are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years in manufacturing maintenance role.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing production equipment with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and repair air and electric power hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Priority 1- Safety; proactively address unsafe conditions and prevent recurrence.
• Priority 2- Down equipment; diagnose and troubleshoot during production and repair as needed.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained safely and securely.
• Respond promptly to urgent issues causing downtime or safety concerns.
• Priority 3- Corrective actions from backlog or PM inspections; ensure safe operation.
• Priority 4- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance per procedures.
• Priority 5- Plan and complete requested projects; manage work orders.
