Job summary

QXO is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. The role supports reliability by maintaining systems, minimizing downtime, and providing a safe working environment.

As an entry level position, you will follow preventive maintenance schedules, interpret manuals, and maintain service records while collaborating with team members to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Inspect equipment and identify issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and technical documents to support maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed
