Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and perform corrective and preventive maintenance. The role includes installing new equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, wiring and programming PLCs, and mentoring newer staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 year certificate or 5–10 years in industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic prints or schematics.
• Ability to interpret and write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot machinery.
• Install and repair automated machinery including robots and PLCs.
• Perform setup and operation of metalworking tools and measure parts for wear.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Mentor new employees and document repairs in CMMS.
