Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking a dependable Machine Shop Operator for weeknights in Tucson, AZ. You will work hands-on with machined parts, assist in operating lathes, mills, saws, and robot-fed mills, with a path to advance into CNC roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and computer skills; Excel experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate saws and prepare raw materials per job specifications.
• Assist CNC machinists in machine setup and operation.
• Deburr and sand machined parts using tools and finishing equipment.
• Track inventory and material usage in logs and spreadsheets.
• Perform routine maintenance on saws and workspace.
• Move materials safely using appropriate tools/equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area.
• Follow all company safety protocols and standard procedures.
