Job summary

Triumph in Clemmons, NC, is seeking a Supervisor of Machining on the second shift to align production with delivery dates, coordinating machines, people, and capacity to meet customer ship dates.

You will partner with Planning, Quality, Materials, Program Management, Manufacturing and Engineering to optimize product flow, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to FAA and Triumph quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of aerospace manufacturing supervision experience.
• Ability to supervise the Second Shift Machining team.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Materials, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure on-time production and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Second Shift Machining team, sets objectives, monitors goals, and provides training and development.
• Reviews weekly/daily production reports and flags potential constraints affecting delivery.
• Interacts with Quality Assurance, Materials, Program Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Assembly and Engineering to move products through operations.
• Maintains job priorities and on-time delivery for each cell; ensures efficiency.
• Develops training capabilities to support Cell Leads and Manufacturing Manager for smooth flow of product through Machining.
• Promotes teamwork within Machining and across functions; responds to concerns and suggestions.
