Dauch Corporation operates a North Vernon facility that manufactures automotive driveline components. The Machine Operator (2nd) will set up, operate, and monitor automated and semi-automatic equipment, ensuring parts meet strict quality standards while maintaining high productivity.

The role requires reading work instructions, basic inspection using gauges/calipers, and performing routine maintenance. Overtime and training on multiple machines are possible as production demands change.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to safely operate manufacturing machinery and read instructions.

Mansioni

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment per work instructions and SOPs.
• Load materials and components into machines and verify settings.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality.
• Maintain downtime records and traceability paperwork accurately.
• Assist with tool changes, setup verification, and routine maintenance.
