Job summary
The Department of Human Services, Ebensburg Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care to our individuals and support treatment plans. You will perform nursing duties, participate in treatment planning, relay health observations to physicians, assist with examinations and health interventions, maintain licensure, and follow regulations while developing nursing skills.
The position is full-time on 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with no telework, starting
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.
- Ability to perform nursing care following standard procedures.
- Commitment to ongoing licensure and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care following the nursing process to maintain wellness.
- Participate in treatment planning meetings and document cases.
- Relay observations to physicians and assist with examinations and health interventions.
- Carry out nursing functions, monitor individuals, and report changes in health status.
- Perform emergency procedures and assist with evacuations and safety measures.
- Maintain licensure and continue developing nursing skills.
