Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling is seeking a Light Manufacturing and Carpentry Associate for the 2nd shift in Avon, IN. You will help construct structures for unit shipments and support warehouse requirements to ensure quality and timely order fulfillment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and flexibility to assist in different areas of the warehouse, operating equipment, and reading blueprints. High School Diploma preferred; 40-hour work week; EOE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Safety procedures familiarity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Carpentry, mechanical, and packaging experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple warehouse areas and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Construct boxes and structures for warehouse and packing needs.
• Support various warehouse areas to meet timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Safely operate forklifts and other machinery; maintain forklift license.
• Read blueprints, measure materials, and follow packaging codes for accurate assembly.
• Set up hydraulic and other equipment and follow safety procedures.
