Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a 2nd Shift Landing Gear Technician- Plater in Medley, FL to disassemble, clean, inspect, and restore landing gear components to airworthy standards. You will use specialized tools to polish, hone, and plate parts such as cylinders, pistons, and bushings, adhering to FAA regulations and company safety procedures.

This role emphasizes precision, adherence to OEM manuals, and reading engineering drawings, with opportunities for growth within GA Telesis Ecosystem.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years related experience.
• 1+ years removing/restoring aircraft assemblies.
• Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts using drawings, specs, and manufacturing plans.
• Ability to construct/install/repair OEM equipment of all types.

Responsibilities

• Polish, hone, and/or plate landing gear parts using specialized tools.
• Follow OEM repair manuals to restore parts to airworthiness.
• Operate plating tanks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, and retrofit requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as required.
