Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a 2nd Shift Landing Gear Technician- Plater in Medley, FL. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, and restore landing gear components to airworthy standards, using specialized tools for polishing, honing, and plating of parts such as cylinders and pistons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience.
• 1+ years removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
• Experience assembling aircraft components using drawings, specs and manufacturing plans.
• Ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment.

Responsibilities

• Polish, hone, and/or plate landing gear parts using specialized tools and equipment.
• Follow tolerances and OEM manuals to restore parts to airworthiness standards.
• Operate plating tanks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders and retrofit requirements for repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
