Job summary

Sims-Lohman is hiring granite fabricators for our Columbus, Ohio location on the second shift. The role involves trimming, scraping and polishing countertops, reading shop drawings, and measuring to ensure accuracy. Overtime is required as needed, with weekly pay and quarterly bonuses.

Candidates should have 2+ years of countertop polishing experience, be able to handle heavy materials, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Grinders and tape measures are commonly used tools in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience polishing countertops required.
• Must have GOOD attendance record.
• Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure.
• Ability to work with heavy weight materials.
• Ability to operate machinery is a plus, but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts using hand grinders and other equipment.
• Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them against templates or measurements.
• Read shop drawings and use a tape measure; learn other shop duties.
