Sims-Lohman is hiring a CNC Operator at our Columbus, Ohio location to operate CNC machinery and assist in countertop production on second shift.

Job description

Sims-Lohman is hiring CNC Operator with 2+ years' previous CNC machine operation experience to work at our Columbus, Ohio location. We have second shift available. Second shift hours are 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. This position will be utilized as needed within our shop operating cutting machinery and or hand polishing.

Responsibilities include:

• Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions
• Operate CNC machinery to router counter top edges
• Operate machinery to cut countertop pieces to specifications and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience CNC Operation highly preferred.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
• Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
• Ability to work with heavyweight
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
