Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Second shift hours required.
• Grain handling/agricultural/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements and regulatory standards.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Identify and address unsafe conditions and equipment concerns promptly.
• Lead housekeeping duties inside and outside locations to keep areas clean and safe.
• Proficiency in CPI's computer systems and operating software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise second-shift employees, assigning work, monitoring performance, and promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Maintain utmost safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee grain receiving, storage, drying, conditioning, handling and loadout during second shift; monitor quality and inventory.
• Monitor facilities and grain handling equipment; coordinate preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Conduct training documentation, audits and incident reporting.
• Serve as primary operational contact during second-shift hours and assist with emergency response when necessary.
