Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift/operator assistant for the second shift in our Columbus, IN location. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, wrapping, and stock organization across a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months experience operating a forklift.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
• Able to obtain and maintain PCA forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Assist with production pull, inbound forms and inventory counts.
• Support other shipping and receiving staff to balance workload.
• Follow safety rules and report any equipment issues.
• Maintain awareness of material defects and safety procedures.
