Job summary

ProAmpac in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a skilled 2nd Press Operator to support high-speed flexographic printing equipment in a growing packaging facility. You will work with the Press Operator to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain presses while ensuring quality and efficiency.

Applicants should have printing or manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Shift options and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating printing presses or similar industrial equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and procedures.
• Proficiency with measurements and basic math for quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing presses per job specs and schedules.
• Prepare inks, cylinders, plates, sleeves and materials.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with maintenance.
• Ensure targets, quality standards, and waste reduction goals are met.
• Record materials and production data in systems and maintain documentation.
