Job summary

Ingenyx is seeking a Film Wire Drawing Operator for the 2nd shift to operate and adjust wire drawing machinery per SOP and to ensure high-quality production. You will measure and inspect components, follow QA procedures, and sign off on production orders while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.

The role requires basic math, good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. No unsolicited resumes; safety and environmental policies apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Basic math (addition, subtraction, and division) and assembly.
• Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatoring instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Must be able to distinguish color and good vision is required for inspection purposes.
• Familiarity with QA Procedures.
• Standing consistently; constant lifting up to 30 lbs; move 200 lb reels with aid of device.
• Occasional use of stairs; reaching, grasping, pulling, and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Operates and adjusts machine/equipment to SOP as trained; follows shop packet instructions.
• Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and scales to meet quality specs.
• Inspects start-up sample for proper diameter, resistance, concentricity, surface, and appearance.
• Adheres to QA procedures to ensure product quality and notifies quality as needed.
• Reviews process documentation and signs off on production orders.
• Strings fine wire through die sequence and capstan.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping; uses PPE.
