Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Charge Staff DSP to provide leadership and daily oversight in a residential home when the Program Manager is unavailable. You’ll ensure health, safety, and well-being while coaching staff and coordinating shifts.

Responsibilities include medication support, documentation, and resident activities, plus de-escalation and crisis response. The role requires 2+ years in human services and a valid license; on-site work with flexible hours is essential.

Formación

• Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in human services.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with management or supervision is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number are required.
• Basic computer and documentation skills are needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership in the home when the manager/administrator is unavailable.
• Support staff through coaching, training, and communication.
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and communication across shifts.
• Manage grocery/supply ordering within budget and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain medication organization, reorders, and documentation.
• Respond to injuries, emergencies, and critical incidents.
• Deliver daily living support and community activities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the home.
