Schwieters Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time 2nd shift Door Machine Operator to join our millwork team in Hugo, MN. This role focuses on preparing materials, operating the door machine, assembling components, and ensuring on-time production with safety in mind.

You work with forklift, scanners, and various equipment while collaborating with teammates to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all orders. A strong work history and the ability to lift 75+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience preferred
• Warehouse or material handler experience preferred
• Able to lift 75+ lbs.
• Good communication skills and detail oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods and work overtime

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials before loading onto the door machine.
• Attach door components using assembly machine and hand tools.
• Load/unload material onto/off the door machine.
• Operate stand/sit forklift to pick material.
• Manage orders to complete on time.
• Use a scanner to check inventory and adjust locations.
• Select material from shelves for next steps.
• Inspect material for quality.
• Stand, walk, and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Coordinate with department lead on work orders.
• Work with team to ensure 100% on-time deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
