Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent supervisory experience in business, management, logistics or comparable; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Experience working in a distribution center; e-commerce fulfillment is strongly encouraged.
• Experience with a variety of DC equipment and systems including WMS, yard management, freight portals and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations in a 1.2 million sq ft facility on two shifts.
• Lead and develop a ~40 person second-shift team with coaching and performance management.
• Ensure safety compliance and a strong culture of safety and accountability.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and labor utilization to maintain staffing and productivity.
• Manage inbound receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping to meet service levels.
• Track KPIs like productivity, quality, attendance, inventory accuracy and costs; drive improvements.
• Collaborate with transportation, customer service, and supply chain to resolve issues.
