Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Production Technician to support composite manufacturing operations on the second shift (4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.). You will perform tape wrapping, cutting, compression molding, and hand layup, inspecting materials and maintaining equipment to ensure output meets specifications.

ISO 9001/AS9100 adherence and heavy lifting are required. The role emphasizes safe handling, accurate measurement, and adherence to detailed work instructions to support production flow

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

Performs tape wrapping, cutting, compression molding and hand layup on composite materials.
Operates and inspects equipment to maintain quality and conformance to specifications.
Measures and visually inspects products using precision instruments.
Adjusts oven temperature controls and follows blueprints to determine methods.
Supports production flow and adheres to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
