Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks an entry-level Complaint Investigations Tech in Alameda, CA for a 6‑month assignment. Work in the Complaint Investigations Lab on second shift (1:30 pm–10:00 pm).

Responsibilities include unpacking, investigating, and documenting investigations of blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors. The role requires basic computer skills, English literacy, and a technical mindset; experience in medical devices is preferred and data entry is a core duty.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills to navigate Internet programs, basic MS Office, read/write English.
• Experience in Medical Device/Biotech Industry with a Technical Background preferred.
• Knowledge of Electronic Troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to work in a team setting preferred.
• Good documentation skills required; data entry of investigation results is a primary part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Unpack boxes safely and sort returned products by product lines.
• Investigate returned products to resolve complaints about blood glucose meters, strips & sensors.
• Document complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
• Use troubleshooting equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes) to complete investigations.
• Perform routine maintenance on quality records and ensure testing equipment validity.
