Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a shop-level machinist to read shop orders and blueprints, set up and operate CNC and manual gear cutting machines, and ensure high quality with precise gauging. You will engage in continuous improvement activities to boost productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Must have sufficient product knowledge to independently set up and operate. CNC & Manual Gear Cutting Machines.
• Will participate in, support and implement continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes to increase productivity and quality.
• Must perform routine maintenance on equipment and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Ability to multitask if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Wage Range: $18.50 - $24.00 along with a 10% shift premium
