Job summary

DuBois Chemicals in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee second-shift chemical blending and packaging, lead teams, and ensure safe, efficient operations and on-time production. You will manage daily activities, monitor quality, and maintain records to support continuous improvement.

You will train new and temporary staff, enforce safety policies, and collaborate with the Plant Manager to drive profitability and efficiency while meeting ISO, OSHA, and EPA standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior supervisor/management experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement and driving change.
• Proven experience with team building and engaging the team to identify best practices.
• Working knowledge of ISO, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office; WMS experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities and supervise multiple teams to meet safety and production targets.
• Prioritize daily tasks and align with plant goals.
• Inspect materials and equipment for malfunctions and ensure quality output.
• Maintain daily logs and production records; perform data entry as required.
• Coach and train new and temporary staff to ensure proper performance and safety.
• Identify process improvements and assist Plant Manager with investments.
