Job summary

Team Industries Inc in Port Arthur, TX is hiring for an abrasive blasting associate. You will prepare surfaces on piping, tanks and structures for coating by pressure blasting, while following strict safety procedures and completing required paperwork.

We offer a second shift (5 PM - 3:30 AM) with a $18.00-$22.00 hourly pay range based on experience and benefits after 500 hours of work, including health, dental and vision coverage. Physical work and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Abrasive blasting of pipe and structural steel.
• Masking/taping and capping of pipe spools.
• Light maintenance of blast equipment.
• Complete paperwork for each piece with material.
• Operate or be trained on forklift, tug, crane, or tractor.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
