Job summary

Wallace Graphics is seeking a Bindery Operator for second shift (4PM - 4:30AM) to set up, operate, and maintain Stahl and MBO folding machines. The role requires 2-3 years of bindery experience and a strong understanding of folding patterns and measurements.

The operator will prepare sheets, adjust settings for quality, monitor production, and pack finished work for shipping. Proficiency with English and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• 2-3 years of experience operating commercial bindery equipment.
• Must be able to operate Heidelberg Folder or similar machinery.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications to determine page sequence, fold type, page size and packing requirements.
• Pre-set side guides, fold plates, fold rollers, and required blades for production.
• Set up machines for maximum speed and quality; load sheets and monitor operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine problems; ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
• Log data collections and ensure job completion meets quality/quantity standards.
