Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. in Fall River, MA seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to program and maintain PLCs for our manufacturing lines. The role requires designing logic, reading diagrams, and supporting capital projects.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in manufacturing controls, a BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering, and experience with FactoryTalk. Second shift 3pm-11pm with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing controls.
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs for manufacturing equipment.
• Read and create logic and flow diagrams for programming, simulation, and testing.
• Maintain preventive maintenance outcomes and diagnostics.
• Monitor line parameters and machine faults to prevent downtime.
• Manage FactoryTalk Metrics and Historian for production reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date electrical and controls documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside contractors as needed.
• Support capital projects and network design for production.
