Premier Packaging Corporation is seeking a Second Pressman for onsite work in Rochester, NY. The role supports setup, operation, and performance of conventional and UV offset presses, handling feeder-end duties, wash-ups, and quality checks while coordinating with the First Pressman to minimize downtime and waste.

You will develop skills in blankets, plates, registration, and press console operations, contributing to safety, quality, and productivity in a dynamic packaging environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years experience in offset printing or paperboard packaging preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate hand tools and press-related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the feeder end of the press and stage stock.
• Monitor inks and coating; communicate adjustments to the First Pressman.
• Perform wash-ups and changeovers for next job readiness.
• Inspect printing quality and identify defects; report to First Pressman.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and mechanical duties as directed.
