Job summary

Jet Linx in Omaha, NE seeks a Second in Command (SIC) for our Light Jet operations (Part 91/135). Live within 2 hours of base or relocate. Reports to Base Chief Pilot and supports safe, compliant aircraft operations under CFRs and company procedures.

Required: 1500 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 25 PIC multi-engine, 100 turbine, 150 instrument. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work exp. Travel and random drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 1500 hours.
• PIC time: 500 hours.
• Multi-engine: 500 hours.
• PIC multi-engine: 25 hours.
• Turbine: 100 hours.
• Instrument: 150 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company and CFRs.
• Coordinate standby duties, trip notifications, and flight reports.
• Maintain and manage EFB hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making and Jet Linx values.
• Travel to Canada and Caribbean as needed.
