Qualifications

• Mentor experienced teacher in same content area.
• Support orientation and development of the beginning teacher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee orientation program for beginning teacher.
• Observe the beginning teacher as directed.
• Hold meetings, as directed, between the mentor and beginning teacher.
• Participate in the Beginning Teacher Mentor online activities as directed.
• Submit required reports to the Principal.
