• Prepares entrees, soups, sauces, vegetables, salads, starches and desserts.
• Produces quantities necessary for patient, cafeteria and catering needs.
• Maintains sanitary and safety standards in preparation and storage.
• Offers cafeteria customers a variety by preparing short order items.
• Keeps non-patient areas clean and checks expiration dates on supplies.
• Provides a safe environment following infection control and safety policies.
• Communicates observations to the care team and assists colleagues as needed.
• Reports on and off duty to designated team leaders.
