Job summary

South Suburban Park & Recreation District is seeking a 2nd Assistant Golf Maintenance to assist in daily golf course upkeep, irrigation troubleshooting, chemical applications, and equipment operation. The role includes supervising part-time staff and ensuring safety and accurate record-keeping.

The candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks, coordinate with the superintendent, and may cover shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, directing, and implementing maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and irrigation to improve conditions.
