Job summary

Abound Health in Westfield, NC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent lives. The role offers paid training, flexibility with full-time and part-time schedules, and a pathway for growth.

You will mentor, provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, transportation to appointments and community events, and support health and wellness tasks.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and encouraging attitude.
• 18 years old or older.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor daily living skills and provide hands-on ADL support.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals.
• Provide transportation to work, appointments, or events.
• Assist with health and wellness tasks, including medications and meals.
