This specialized technical accounting role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely public filings, drafting accounting memos, and developing financial policies. Reporting directly to our Global Controller, the SEC & Technical Reporting Manager will work closely with external accountants and auditors, ensuring compliance with all SEC reporting requirements. This role requires a strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting standards, making it ideal for a CPA with experience in public company reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and financial policies.
• Collaborate with external accountants and auditors to manage financial statement audits and reviews.
• Monitor changes in SEC and GAAP regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Provide support for IPO readiness efforts.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification (active).
• 5+ years of experience in SEC reporting or technical accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with external auditors and accountants.
• Ability to draft technical accounting memos and policies.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience working for a publicly traded company.
• IPO experience.
