Job summary

CFS is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to own quarterly and annual SEC reporting for a growing public company. This on-site role offers high visibility with executive leadership and meaningful impact, with a salary range of $150,000–$165,000 plus a 15% incentive and profit sharing.

You will handle GAAP, SOX controls, deferred tax, and acquisition accounting, collaborating with auditors and business leaders to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of accounting, financial reporting, and SEC experience.
  • Public accounting background with SEC clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly and annual SEC reporting, including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and disclosure requirements.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new accounting standards and technical accounting guidance.
  • Manage tax-related responsibilities, including deferred tax calculations, filings, and compliance activities.
  • Oversee GAAP compliance, internal controls, SOX-related processes, and general ledger accuracy.
  • Support acquisition accounting, fair value assessments, and integration of acquired entities.
  • Partner with auditors, regulators, and business leaders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
