Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks an experienced SEC Reporting Analyst Intern to drive the SEC reporting process and streamline reports to meet deliverables. You will collaborate across the organization to understand accounting impacts and provide actionable recommendations supported by financial analysis.

You will gain hands-on experience in cash flow and balance sheet analytics, develop repeatable processes, and build strong relationships with Controllership, R&D, Investor Relations, and site finance

Qualifications

• Sophomore year and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• English proficiency in written and verbal form.
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Roll forward all external reporting documents for upcoming quarters.
• Review all documents to ensure prior period numbers are accurate.
• Use data from the cashflow process to streamline reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of cash flow and balance sheet analytics.
• Detailed working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint within Microsoft Office.
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing and reporting variances from plan.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support corporate decisions.
• Increase productivity by developing repeatable business processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Controllership, R&D, Investor Relations and site finance teams.
