Job summary

LHH in Houston, TX is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to oversee all aspects of the company’s internal and external financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience.

Responsibilities include assisting in SEC filings, closing processes, preparing schedules, and providing variance analysis. A Bachelor's in Accounting is required; CPA is preferred. Full-time position based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of SEC reporting and/or public accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
• CPA preferred (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of SEC filings.
• Participate in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process.
• Assist in providing quarterly and annual schedules.
• Review financial results, report variances, and provide related analysis.
• Assist in researching accounting issues and drafting technical accounting memos.
• Maintain and analyze key performance metrics.
• Support the financial reporting team with various ad hoc analyses.
